Assembled: General Assembly, all parties holding current USAPL PA cards
welcome (approx. 25 members in attendance)
Meeting called to order by Dennis "Niko" Hulslander.
Introduction of the purpose for the meeting..."Change of Status
for PA Powerlifting"-Hulslander
Reasons why new election of State Chair given; ie., representation,
# of meets held, # of membership, adequate records kept, State Championships--Hulslander
QUESTION- Fred Glass "Who are the Nominations?"
Nominations for the State Chair are open for the General Assembly--Hulslander
Fred Glass nominates Steve Mann for the position of State Chair.
Dennis "Niko" Hulslander seconds the nomination.
General Assembly is informed that Bob Granko is on the ballot.
QUESTION - anonymous member of the General Assembly- "Is Bob Granko
represented?
The question is repeated for the General Assembly and a brief moment
is given for the responce--Hulslander
No response is noted.--Hulslander
The General Assembly is informed that USAPL President Mike Overdeer
stated to the meet director that if Bob Granko was not present or represented;
Bob Granko was considered AWOL.--Hulslander
General Assembly is given the chance to nominate other candidates and
to ask questions--Hulslander

Nominations are closed.--Hulslander
Steve Mann is introduced to General Assembly--Hulslander
Steve Mann gives credentials and ideas for PA POWERLIFTING--Mann
Voting procedure discussed by General Assembly (ie) Oral vs.Written--Hulslander
General Assembly elects Oral procedure with the use of USAPL cards
per vote.
Voting of State Chair commences--Bob Granko= 0 votes, Steve Mann= 20
votes.
Announcement of Steve Mann as the New PA USAPL State Chairman--Hulslander
Steve Mann gives brief acceptance speech and deliberates some new ideas
that PA Powerlifting will see through multiple efforts.
Meeting adjourned at 3:50 P.M. 02/24/01.--Hulslander
